I had a lovely stay at this lodge in Kern River. It was a pleasant surprise as I didn't know what to expect when I booked online. The location was cute and had a nice view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and on top of everything. The room was clean and spacious, and the amenities were good. I definitely plan to return on future trips to the area. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the beautiful Kern River and a convenient general store across the street. The location was perfect, with easy access to hiking trails and the river. I highly recommend this lodge for its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent hospitality.

The rooms are nicely decorated, cozy, and clean, equipped with essential amenities like a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering great service. There are BBQs available on-site for guests to use, and a private deck with a fireplace to enjoy the stars at night.

The shower cubicle could have been a bit larger to enhance the comfort of guests.

The friendly staff, especially Diana, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The onsite bbq and gathering areas were clean and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The store across the street was also convenient, with friendly employees and delicious sandwiches, like the Redneck Special Burrito that my husband devoured. We only wished we could have stayed longer to fully experience all the wonderful facilities!
